BB Gun is a new tool that has been specifically designed to assist applicator drivers in the field. Benefits of using BB Gun include reduced customer crop injury claims, reduced product inventory losses, and big savings in clerical time.
The way BB Gun works is through the Scheduling Program. After formulating and scheduling orders, the orders are printed for blending at the mix plant. The applicator driver then takes the durable, hand-held, user-friendly computer right in to the field. As blended orders are mixed and delivered to the field, the applicator driver scans in the order information from the blend sheet.
BB Gun documents each task as it is completed and prompts applicators to rinse tanks before a new job is started. Each evening BB Gun's completed orders are transferred into the Schedule Program, automatically capturing the driver's logbook along with regulatory and billing information. BB Gun reduces applicator driver workload and stress, which makes it easier to attract, develop and retain good applicator drivers.
